Here is my proud creation, I will try to upload and add a video on how I actually laminated the pictures hopefully this week but my life is chaos with Christmas right around the corner and being in University plus running a church team and working part time… did I mention the husband and three kids?

I work in special education I started as a 1:1 aide and then started to work with pre-school aged children and I absolutely adore those smaller humans. One thing I realized was missing for a lot of our non-speaking students is they were limited in their interactions with books and read aloud story times. I was able to take a class on using AAC to adapt books and this winter I created my first adapted book! It was labor intensive between making the icons and laminating the paper pages but I am so proud of the overall result (there was definitely a learning curve with the lamination process!).
